E90 permanent 12V from fuse box
Hello, I tried find in other topics where I can plug in wire for permanent 12V in the fuse box. It is for steering wheel interface for aftermarket radio. I found that permanent 12V is fuse number 2 (OBD socket). But it is for cars made since 2007. I have year 2006 and there is different fuse box. Fuse number 2 is for diversity antenna in my car. Do you somebody know where is permanent 12V in fuse box for E90 made in 2006? Thank you

It's better to check the little fuse chart at the back of the cover where you access the fuse box.
Each year is different, BMW likes to keep us hunting. Get yourself a multimeter and check for permanent fuses. |

Hope your device sleeps or goes into standby other wise it will drain the battery more than the car already does.
We don't have the diesels in the e90 series in the US . There won't be much knowledge of those on this side of the Pond. |

Here is my fuse box diagram. The instruments should be powered all the time if I'm not mistaken. So fuse 58 is permanent 12V? |

I found solution in this thread: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1484265
There is same fuse box as mine so I have used fuse number 2 for permanent 12V. |
