Clip size for the hose to thermostat?

Lost the clip for the radiator hose to the thermostat. Does anyone know the size of the clip so I can get that hose back on? Online vendors says BMW doesn't have any information on that clip and wants be to buy the entire hose to replace it. Not sure if I can use a band clamp as a DIY there as it's hard connections on both sides. I circled the parts in red. the hose clajmp is from the side on the left.

btw, this is a 2008 335i/e92/N54 engine.

The wire clip is not sold separately.

That is unfortunate. Trying not to have to replace the entire hose assembly which is not expensive, but the time an effort I'm assuming would be a lot just for that one piece of wire.
This evening, I did get my hail mary amazon package with a bunch of hose clips. One seemed to fit thought not as tight as the original. Though it did the audible click when I connected it and a quick pull seemed that it is staying on.

Hopefully it doesn't leak.
