BMW e90 325i n52b25a 2006 year

Hello guys,
I just bought an e90 325i n52b25a year 2006. The pump was working fine when the car was cold and it was flushing the fluid, but when it got to 90 degrees and hotter it stopped flushing the coolant and it just started blowing the fluid from the expansion vessel. Is it a problem with the water pump or is it something else? Also I've been seeing that the car starts to overheat and maybe it doesnt work properly.

It sure sounds like it, water pumps can cause lots of problems like what you're describing.
