E92 335i aircon/cooling/fan issue
I don't have any error codes.
So my radiator fan doesn't seem to kick when engine temps get abit high, coolant temp and oil temps seems to fluctuate too much Was driving to work this morning and had my carly plugged in to monitor some temps. So at standstill traffic after about a 45min drive, i noticed my engine was at 115c and coolant temp was sitting at about 105-110c. Interior fans were also blowing really hot air despite it being on the coldest setting. When I was driving home I monitored temps again, and coolant didnt go above 100c as it hadnt warmed up yet in the slow part and by the time it had i was on the motorway. I noticed that when I was doing 70mph ish my coolant temps were dropping to under 70c and the engine and oil temps dropped from about 110c to about 90c. I've had this car awhile and I'm quite sure this isnt normal. I have some ISTA readouts related to the AC which are below. Readings from IHKA module AC not activated. Control Valve in a/c compressor - 0.00A Rear mixing flap petentiometer - 40% Refrigerant pressure sensor - 6.44 bar Voltage supply, pressure sensor - 4.97v AC activated. Control Valve in a/c compressor current - 330A Rear mixing flap petentiometer - 40% Refrigerant pressure sensor - 6.60 bar Voltage supply, pressure sensor - 4.97v Readings from JBE module. Evap temp - 21c footwell temp - 25c power supply 13.7v interior temp - 26c outside temp - 16c refrigerant pressure - 6bar ventilation temp - 23c Last edited by Twinsical; 07-06-2024 at 02:09 PM.. |
