FRM critical error
Hey everyone, was trying to code some interesting features on my ‘11 e90 (build date 06/10), and stumbled on the FRM has critical errors issue.
I’m pretty sure my FRM is fine since other stuff like comfort start and windows works, but I’m pretty frustrated since I want to do stuff involving lighting like double pulse hazards and whatnot. Not sure what exactly I can or should do, I had the option to bypass my errors to code with carly, but decided against it at the time. Please advise what is most cost effective and any advice. Saad |

Looks like since yours is a 6/10 you have a frm3 footwell module
The frm3 due to a software bug has a risk of bricking anytime code is flashed to it so an app like Beamer code would lock you out of it to prevent any damage |

Does this mean that I can’t code anything on my frm? Or should I bypass it like I have the option to on carly?

I had the same error coding using bimmercode aswell on my 2010 BMW 328i, I tried using Protool and it worked fine. No issues or anything of the sort for me. Not sure why I had the same pop up error but just wanted to share my experience if it’s of any worth to you. (I’ve coded auto mirror folding when locking and sport brake, no issues so far).
