Please help to read the log, car is overboosted

2011 e90 335i n55 6 speed manual, it has:
vrsf chargepipe
vrsf downpipe
dual port bov
vrsf fmic
Currently on mhd stage 1+, overboosted all the time up to the 25psi and it doesn’t matter what type of map you have, I tried everything, even stage 1 gets 25psi, I don’t really know what it can be. Please help!

It’s only tuned by mhd, should I go with custom tune or what is the best option for me, first and second gear is fine, but since it starts being under the big load 4th, 5th, 6th gear it’s 25psi and feels like I’m losing power

early N55 like your got a pneumatic wastegate (PWG), later version an electric (EWG).

MHD do OTS tune for both, if you choose the wrong N55 version, this is very possible the cause of your overboosting since the waste gate wont react the same way.

25psi seems a bit high for a stock turbo with few base supporting mods

Thanks for replying, I have E-Version of MHD app, also tried every map, went to the performance shop as well, they checked possible leaks and everything looks fine, they told me possible issue it is my aftermarket bov valve, sometimes it throws me code that my clamped is closed, but I also read it’s normal for the tuned cars

doubt this is cause by a bov.
wastegate and throttle body are there to limit the boost.

The bov can leak boost, not increase it.
In fact, some are running no bov at all.

Again, what was the option in MHD, you have the dongle right? you got the MHD app. Yes E-MHD is normal, for E chassis car.

See the picture, MHD got 2 N55 option in their listing. you have the 340hp N55, not the 360hp.

I bought license for the first PWG N55s, there is no other option. Do you think there is any other issues I could check, before my stock turbo blew up?

then you might test a new boost solenoid.

those were prone to fail on a N54 so I guess the N55 is not better , at least you have only 1.

Then you might send a complete log to 6k rpm, so we can see pedal position, boost, high rpm and waste gate duty.

That's not a proper log to assess boost response. Take a log in 3rd gear, start at about 2500rpm, and go WOT until redline, or close to it. Do it on an empty safe stretch of road, because you'll be around 90mph at the end.

Don't worry too much about 1 pull, on n55e the boost is logged before the throttle plate - if air flow gets higher than target, the throttle will partially close to keep air flow into the engine on target.

Also, the throttle closing can cause boost to spike up, because boost is monitored in the charge pipe upstream of the throttle.

Ok, thanks, I will do logs later because my car just didn’t start this morning, anyway I started it up because it is manual and it worked fine but battery sign appears, what is the best way to check if it’s battery or I need new alternator? I got code 384A
