BMW's recall affects the model-years 2006–11 323i, 325i, 330i, 330Xi, 335i, 335Xi; the model-years 2006–12 325Xi, 328i, 328Xi; and the model-years 2009–11 335d.

Looks like this covers non-sport vehicles that have had their steering wheels upgraded to sport or Msport wheels. So nothing new to those of us who already had our sport steering wheel bags replaced.

Any thoughts on why it only covers sedans? Owning an '08 E92 that I've updated to an M wheel (but reinstalled the original stock steering wheel airbag), plus an '11 M3 with a stock M wheel, I would have thought the airbags were the same in all models

I thought the E92 supposedly came with a sport steering wheel from factory? Not sure why yours didn't.
