Bulgarian Lemans Blue E90 and his adventures

Hello! I want to introduce you to my beauty, who I can praise a lot, but I can also complain a lot about her
So a little info about the car:
BMW e90 325i sedan lemans blue m tech. When i bought it was on 160000km. Today is on ~195000km.

I have owned the car for about a year. Тhe photo is from the day of purchase

Interior of the car:

In live the car really looked very beautiful, I wanted it to be in authentic form and the one world fix on the car was added M bumper. After we bought the car traveling to my city, just after 10km after the purchase of the car get CEL (Check Engine Light). The car ran well, but it seemed that its 218 horsepower was not in its full glory. After checking the car for errors we found that the error is related to the Oxygen Sensor of the car. I have to add here that the car was purchased with a LPG system installed, which unfortunately opened up a lot of problems for me in the end due to the lack of temporary maintenance of the car by the previous owner. so... I drove the car 100-200 km, then added about a liter of coolant, which made me suspect that there is a problem with the water pump, which is expensive. After a day or two I checked and it turned out that there was a problem because the car started overheating

In which I immediately replaced the water pump and the thermostat of the car, but since we had to go on vacation with my wife on our honeymoon, after replacing the parts I also had to change some things on the suspension and we went on vacation about 1000 km away

On which trip I stopped at 200km to add coolant and I don't think there was a big problem, but the car wasn't overheating, just losing coolant.
After we got to the break and came back from there the car started making missfires of cylinder2. After a thorough investigation, we found the following:
The car before I bought it was due for a water pump and thermostat replacement as there was a problem with them, but the previous owner did not pay attention to the problems with the car, continued to drive like this and repeatedly overheated the car's engine, also the car ran with gas system which further shortens the life of the engine and again its untimely maintenance leads the car to Headgasket.

In which we started with the disassembly of the head of the car and the repair of the entire engine. We replaced everything except the pistons, connecting rods and segments. we also removed the primary catalysts and reprogram the ECU about the secondary oxygen sensors.

After all that was done we also replaced the engine chains but found that there was remnants of a timing belt in the crankcase, again the previous owner that had broken but not repaired properly which required us to remove the front axle to access the crankcase and clean the oil pump from the junk.
After fixing the engine, we replaced the glow plugs, coils and the big disa valve the car run great.
After the engine started properly it was time to see what was happening with the suspension because it was shaking a lot and we found out why....:

After that the car runs about 12-13 thousand kilometers, when suddenly a check light came on again and I realized that it was from the starter, at which time it repaired again, and I repaired it too

I'll stop with the story for now because I have a lot more to write, so expect my input again with lots of pictures and lots of stories...

Hello, again! I continue the tribulations and adventures with my beast, ahahaha. I want to add that I have had the car for exactly one year now. I bought it in July 2023. Between then and there, I've spent money on half a e90 325i. I have always said it until now, unfortunately the car came to me after a very bad run before me. So... For the period of one year, I drove nearly 40-45 thousand kilometers, I am very satisfied, except that something happens to the car every month. Basically, the car is equipped with a gas system and this can shorten the life of the engine a little or a lot, but I always change the oil at 8000 kilometers and the car is constantly maintained very well and a lot of the kilometers are outside the city, which I think is good for the car.
she.. Let me go back to the story - what I have done on the car up to here.
September 2023 I bought a set of Yokohama winter tires - I would say that I am satisfied with the behavior of the car.

Our car is a family car, my wife and I drive it, I think it's a pretty good car for my needs.
To be honest, after I did the major overhaul of the engine, I didn't have any problems, after that I changed the coils and spark plugs (in truth, I've done about 45-50 thousand km. I think it's time to change the spark plugs again, since the gas system quite shortens their life).

I also want to share what happened to me after one oil change. The master has forgotten center tube of oil cap. After which I walked 100 km. To be honest, I'm still wondering how we didn't lock up the engine, but we eventually found out that the first cylinder lifters were running dry and had come off. in which the car ran on five cylinders. After opening the valve cover we re-clipped the scattered parts inside and the engine ran smoothly again and we are now careful when changing the oil that this part does not stick inside the old oil filter.
In truth, after January 2024 until now, apart from oil, filters and linings, I don't think I have changed anything on the car. I just drive.

P.S. in fact, in March I visited the Republic of Turkey, specifically Istanbul. From there I bought very nice rims size 17, because in Bulgaria our roads are quite broken, and I drive a lot so I don't risk getting stuck somewhere on the road. Well, actually why am I telling this story - Because before I left for Turkey I decided, the car was about 180 thousand km and the automatic gearbox was never serviced, so I decided to do it - big mistake. After the service I didn't feel anything changed in the operation of the transmission, there were no chips in the transmission when it was serviced, but on the way back from turkey a knock started when shifting up between 4th and 5th gear. the car did not go into emergency mode, but recorded an error in Inpa - 4f86...In general, I did not change the body seals, maybe I should have. I have wear on the pack "E".

During the consultation I was offered several options:
1. Repair of the entire automatic transmission for a cost of about $2000
2. Stage 3 from XHP.
3. Mehanotrnic solenoid kit change

Well, I want to mention that this kick from fourth gear to fifth happens very very rarely. Every 5000 km - once. And if it is driven at high revs and maybe the box when it reaches 95-100 degrees.
After I came to these conclusions we drive the car slowly and there are no problems, but in fact I plan to service the new automatic transmission soon and in the process replace the one solenoid responsible for these gears, the body seals and make a Stage 2 from xHP. I think this will be enough.

the new tires are dunlop sport:

in fact, I have been through this for 40-45 thousand km. I hope the next 40-45 thousand as long as they are not like that, but a little more pink. What I want to do to the car right now is maybe sports exhaust manifolds, a new steering wheel as this one doesn't have buttons and navigation like the f30. Time will tell what happens.

Excellent car. Excellent pics. Probably ought to get that alignment checked more often, huh? Love the castle pic.
