..::PSI::.. - BMW Secrets Unveiled at BMW Group Classic!

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
BMW Group classic is BMWs hidden gem. Within BMW Group Classics walls are some of the rarest and most Unique BMWs ever made. When we were asked if we wanted to have the space with Horatio from BMW Blog to check out some rare cars and make some content, we knew it was an opportunity we couldn't pass up. The walls echo BMWs history and contain secrets that are still left to be unveiled, which made it hard to even select only 4 to feature.

Check out the full video for a walk through and individual features of some of BMWs coolest engineering feats.

Maybe BMW designers should be required to walk through this room for inspiration on future car designs.

Nothing I love more than a vault of classic cars. What a beautiful trip through history that must have been.

Did I miss any homage to the car that saved BMW back in the late '50s?

I believe this was Elvis’ BMW. I saw it when in Munich as well, at the museum next to the delivery experience center. 503 as I recall. It was a frame off restoration by BMW.

Actually, the 700S Convertible in the photo above is mine. Original 2-owner car in unrestored original condition. According to BMW, the finest example of an unrestored 700S Convertible in existence. But that's just what they told me decades ago and nothing's changed on mine.

I actually drove it to the BMW Oktoberfest in DC in 1996.

Agree, the older ones are still the gems. The new ones are just better to drive

This example is an exception... Or are you trying to say that all their latest is their greatest? Pleaseeeee!

They've wet the bed on many designs, like they gave a 10yr old access to their 3d modeling computer! Sad but true!

Historic BMW grills

Thanks for pointing this out; right on. I've been making this argument with folks about the double-stacked grills since they came out. It's actually quite a historic treatment, and a history of BMW kidney grills will show just about every size, shape, and position imaginable. The folks who argue that BMW lost the design plot with the double-stacked grills need to spend a tad more time with the history of BMW design.
