Low idle, shaking, shuttering...please help.
I was just crusing through my parking garage a few minutes ago when my car suddenly started to drop in revs, shake, and make some terrible exhaust noises. I parked immidiately and restarted with no issues. Still havent driven it again yet.
Anyone have any ideas what this could be, HPFP perhaps? |

Sounds like the fuel pump from everything I've read and experienced. My local dealer gave me a 335 sedan to test overnight and it practically quit on me. I had to limp back to the lot with it shuddering and making a lot of noise. They told me it was probably water in the gas from sitting outside so long - please! They never would tell me what the fix was but needless to say I didn't buy that one.

It sounds like a fuel pump man. Take off your mods and take it into the dealership asap....
