protection against the elements

Hey all, I have a 335is and will be going to college soon. I have an apartment where it will spend nights and the majority of the time in a garage, but when im at school it will more than likely be on a dirt lot above a beach. I also don’t have garage room at my family’s house where the car sits without shade in 100 degree weather. Is it worth buying a car cover to put on and take off every day to avoid having to constantly wash? i’m open to any suggestions or recommendations to avoid having my paint destroyed

All you can do is keep it clean, a ceramic coat will do wonders. I'm not a fan of car covers, you cover a dirty car and everything gets messy. Besides, people tend to be curious and start messing with it.
