30FF Code 2009 335xi

Hey guys this is my first post ever. Ive recently got my turbos rebuilt (the turbine itself and the wastegate), but now my waste gate rattle is back and I'm assuming it has to do with a vacuum leak somewhere. Whenever I accelerate I can hear a loud sucking in noise and a big whoosh once I let off. I also have a BOV attached to my aftermarket chargepipe and I no longer hear the pressure being released from the BOV but from the right side of my car. Any ideas of what this could be? Thanks!

edit: I believe that my wastegate actuators need adjusting and I will be using MHD to adjust my wastegate positioning, hopefully that helps

How many miles? How did you get to the conclusion you had bad Turbos?

Check for cracks in your chargepipe? Check Vacuum lines?

I have 170k km

I don't think I would have cracks in my charge pipe as it is aluminum but is there a possibility that my bov may be the source of my boost leak? my bov doesn't seem to work. I have replaced all my vacuum lines as well.

update: I have realized my charge pipe has quite a bit of play and the C-clip was not locked in and damaged. I have ordered a new O rind and C clip and will be installing those tomorrow. But would a chargepipe be the culprit of all my lost boost? and does anyone think a stuck bov could also be the result of my boost loss? Thanks

hey guys another update, i took off my bov and i found that the o-ring was broken and now i have replaced it but still didn’t get the bov to work. The codes i get from MHD are 29F5, 29F4, and recently just started getting 2C7B (O2 sensor after catalytic converter. Signal.) Also i have been noticing that i hear a rattle but its not the wastegate rattle and when i accelerate sometimes my car gets quite loud and then quiet again which makes me believe that somehow my downpipe has a leak. What do you guys think?

I've seen several BOV installation vids in which they fail to align the holes in the BOV line fastener required for proper flow.
