PCV heater delete
I'm aware of the recall on the heater but I highly doubt they do recalls in Lebanon where my e93 328i is located. I'm assuming there isn't a fuse dedicated to the heater that I can pull out correct which causes the issue in the first place?
Should I just disconnect the plug? Will it throw a check engine light? The temperature here rarely dips below 15-10C so I assume the heater is pointless correct or should I plug it in in the winter? Thanks in advance! |

You can just unplug the heater under the intake manifold with a long screwdriver. Mine has been unplugged since the first recall with no issues or fault codes

You can also purchase the inline fuse (their fix) and revised PCV heated elbow and install them yourself. Pretty inexpensive and simple procedure.
