audio help
when i first purchase my e90 i decided to install a csf radiator, got the radiator installed then snapped a bolt and it sat for a month if that. (radio worked mint) install the radiator and go for my first test drive and i notice that there’s no audio, then just static like crunchy noises. then silence for a year. today it sounded like bass boosted ocean waves until i unplugged the optic fiber cable from the amp. what should i go about replacing first? i’ve already checked for flashing red lights throughout the whole fiber loop. i’m just confuzz tbh

Likely your Logic7 amp dying--it's pretty common though that's not the usual symptom, it's usually just zero audio. Did it sit outside? Any chance water got into the trunk?

When the car sits for a month the battery can deplete to a state
where the Intelligent Battery system decides to limit loads and turn it off. Be sure you at least fully charger the battery before you jump to conclusions about other problems . A voltmeter off Amazon only costs 20 bucks and is useful for a lot tasks around the home and in the car. It will not lie like software sometimes does. |
