Hi I have a 2006 330d with base stereo (no amp or tweeter) and idrive(ccc)

I just got my car back from the garage with no audio after getting the heater core replaced. They have refused to even look at the problem so I thought I’d have a look myself.

So far everything works as it should apart from the sound. I have checked all the fused and none are blown I have also checked the wires out of the navigation professional unit and the idrive screen and all seem fine.

Does anyone have any idea where to start or any issues that could cause this any comment would be appreciated

The base stereo is pretty straight forward.

I have unplugged and plugged everything back in and still nothing and I believe mine runs through the nav unit as the only radio is on the idrive screen I’m just unsure what the next step would be

Not sure how the Euro Units work of if they are the same.
You might also try the Idrive sub forum.
The above documentation is the last post is whats available.
You might try taking a ohm meter to the connections at the connector to seek
there is resistance to the speakers and not and open.
Or a Scope to see it there is output from the Head unit.

you CCC unit might fail during being in shop and shop replaced it with unit from junkyard to not mess with you
but replaced unit might be coded for another sound system
