Those silver woofers looks like individual audio speakers instead of Logic 7.

I have a used L7 amp bracket and pigtail, new BavSound speakers, and the MOSt wiring.

My plan was to repin the existing speaker connections to the L7 pigtail and run new wiring to the additional speakers but a full L7 harness just popped up for sale. Should I just buy that? What's easier or better in your opinion?
Well it's all up to you actually. If you use pigtail, you save little bit money but you still need to run additional cables yourself. Also looks like you want to use Bavsound, which is not included center , rear door speakers. So that l7 loom might be overkill for your case

I have the full bavsound speaker kit for L7, 13 replacement speakers. I had this setup in my old car with factory L7 amp and it sounded phenominal.

Thanks for the reply!

thanks for the post.

I'm going to install a individual sound system in a hifi pre-lci car, and noticed the wires are not present in the hifi car. fml.
So looks like it confirm that I need to take part of the interior down to get the harness out.

And I think ''while I'm there'' ill swap the comfort, CIC and backup sensor.

According to your experience, should I swap also the whole fuse box?

(I own both cars, so I have all parts)

Swapping a fusebox in these cars is a hefty job by itself. I don't think you should be doing it, . Frankly that sounds crazy. If the old car had hifi harness, you just need to use the logic7 pigtail and wire a few extra lines. A bunch of guys here have done it. CCC quadlock wiring is different from CIC.
Doing multiple things simultaneously might sound efficient, but at the same time if things break you will be having a tough time identifying the issue

Hey VickyK ,

I hope you’re well. I have been using your guide on retrofitting Logic7 into my e92 M3 and I need your help! Just for reference, i’ve got the base audio, it’s a pre-LCI but came with LCI screen and controller. Car had Bluetooth for phone calls only. 6 CD changer. I bought the L7 kit out of an E91 and I got the wiring loom with it. I think I can see where all the wires go but i’ve only just started it.

My question is that when I went to change the wires in the Combox, I only have 3 wires to remove it looks like. The large white one, the one with the optical plug next to it and one of the white and pink connectors labeled RT on it. This I think is fine, but my original large white connector has a few more wires going to it than my new wiring loom from the E91. I’m quite competent in dismantling the car etc but wiring is and unpinning connectors is not something i’ve done many times apart from basic wiring. I wanted to know if I’m okay to continue as is or if I need to swap the wires in the large white connector.

Also, for example going to the combox, where the blue large connector is there’s another optical plug which I don’t think my new e91 loom has either the blue or optical connectors on. Was wondering if you could shed some light on if that needs replacing also. (To be precise, on the combox at this moment, I’m able to replace 3 plugs total).

Finally, I see people saying stuff about MOST which I can’t figure out what it is or if I need to do anything regarding it.

Your help will be greatly appreciated and if you are willing, I am down to send you some money to support me through this retrofit as it’s quite intrusive. Please let me know your thoughts and if you can help. I’d appreciate it a lot! Thank you in advance!

Hi there. Don't need to send money, I'll help you out wherever I can.
First off, halt what you are doing with the combox. You don't need to take apart all of your wiring for this retrofit.
The wiring loom that you got, seperate the ONLY cables that run to the big black amplifier connector, including the fiber optic cables. The combox cables ect are not needed and can be discarded.

VickyK so just to clarify, do not change any of the combox cables - only use the ones that are going from the amplifier and continue on wiring the loom to the new speakers throughout the car?

VickyK legend! Thanks so much for that. I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions (but hopefully not haha).
