Why cant the BMW High Performance Aluminum Power Steering Cooler for the e93 M3 fit t

Good evening everyone,

I cant find any information as to why someone cant squeeze in the larger high performance powersteering cooler into the bmw e93 335is. The cooler locations look identical,
The aluminum rails leaving the cooler look similar. I cant figure it out and I cant find any information online as to why it won't work.

Please break me off with some knowledge.
