Individual Audio or Match UP 8DSP

Hey guys, so I’ve owned 2 e9x that i’ve retrofitted individual audio (my old e92 335 and my current daily e90 328) and I have retrofitted the entire 16 speaker system into my e90 and I love it, it’s extremely loud but honestly a little harsh in highs and have been trying to tweak the eq to help. That’s not the main problem at hand though..

So I just picked up a E90 335 with HiFi just like my other E90 328 where I retrofitted the full individual audio (I made a entire harness for the rear doors and center dash speaker) and I was considering either putting individual audio in my new 335 or getting something like the match UP 8dsp + individual speakers? I’m not sure how i’m gonna go about this but I do have a spare individual amp that’s the newer style than the current individual amp I have in the 328 so maybe it’ll sound slightly different/better

Has anyone on here experienced both systems and can chime into some differences? I would love to have the same extreme loudness as my current individual audio system that’s the only thing that worries me about the match up 8dsp

Mobridge makes and Amp with some pretty good specs that is Most Bus contemptible right out of the box. The aftermarket stuff gives you control over your own DSP settings but is usually not a Most Bus system Mobridge is the only one that solves that (that have been successful I believe when I last looked)
this supposedly . You won't find many people that have the Individual System here.

If you start out with Hi Fi there are lot of DSP/Amp combo's I think the Audiotech/Fisher have the most support for DSP.
Get enough power to drive some nice speakers and be prepared to tune the DSP.

If you have the Bucks I would just get the entire AudioTech package .
If you want to get more exotic Morel speakers for the doors and Jehnerts XE200s for the floors.
If you want to get crazy Jehnert door boards.

I’d take 676 hifi with match over individual all day and twice on Sundays.

If you really want to sound SQ, drop some f30 hifi speakers in and swap to SWS 8xi for your underseats along with the match.

You can borrow my tune file from the f30 forum and just adjust the TA to match the e90 distances, but the EQ, xovers, etc are all done for that f30 hifi with SWS combo in my tunefile.

Btw, I swapped to f30 hifi speaks on my e91 L7 amd they are far far better speakers.

Thanks for that tune Using it on my e92 setup it up for RHD though. Fronts are Audisons, rears are stock hifi and earthquakes

So i might try and pick up some f30's ones for the rears. Do you think it's worth getting the centre speaker?

Yes, the f30 center is so much cleaner and my tune file does use the center but in a very bandpassed way to help imaging. You can get a set of all 5 for 50-70 buck so you can change your rears and center out.
