Hello everyone!
My story its a bit complicated but ill try to make it easy…
So i bought a 2013 e93 328i from USA with 132k km, i used it 600-700km and not a single drop on the oil level, then when it came time to service, the mechanic noticed a small leak on the oil pan and i said to him to do it, after he replaced the gasket and i changed oil and filters, the first day i noticed oil seepage on my parking spot.
I went back to the mechanic and i just paid for a new gasket ,he installed it and refilled the 2days used new oil, and my car is still leaking from what i think ,its from the bolts(photo attached) as i also read on forums that BMW says are only one time use.
Then after some days i noticed the oil level dropping to 80%, after some time i added an LPG kit to the car , oil sensor was still at 80% and yesterday after 2000km it was in the middle(photo attached) right from 80%, and today when i was speeding in highway it dropped near the min level.
The thing is that i dont see any white smoke from the exhaust , nor any leaks in the engine except from 2 bolts of the oil pan that i have seen (one bolt attached).
So im starting to get worried where all this oil goes!!!
I have put 5w-40 motul lpg LL-04
And my question is , are the 2 leaking bolts loosing this many oil (almost 1L) or is the car burning more oil as a result of adding lpg kit ?
Any opinion would help
Thank you
