E92 CCC I-Drive coding.

Hello everyone,

I have recently replaced my CCC I-drive unit, in doing this I have noticed the following issues:

1. CDC (CD Changer) functionality has been lost, resulting in my MR12Volt box being useless.
2. Bluetooth functionality has been lost, I can not longer connect my phone to the car...

There may be some other things that I have lost but these are the main two that I have noticed. I have contacted BMW directly and they are as useful as a chocolate Tea-pot and frankly don't seem to have a clue what to do.

After reading some posts on this forum I have learned that some coding needs to be done, some users seem to recommend NCS-Expert to code the CDC and Bluetooth functionality.

Has anyone here has similar issues in that past and if so how did you resolve them, also if anyone has used NCS Expert to code the functionality back a walk through would be massively appreciated because this is my first attempt at something like this

Thanks in advance,

Jay.

CCC must be coded to your car. The correct way is to default code all parts of the CCC with an expert mode profile and SG_CODIEREN.

Code 5 modules in order to have the CCC working completely

- CGATE
- CHOST
- CAUD
- CTUNE
- CAPPL

However you may just be able to code CAPPL first and see where that get you.

How to:

https://www.e90post.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1968943&d=1547058067

1. Open NCS Expert
2. Load an Expertmode profile
3. Press F1 (FG/ZCS/FA)
4. Press F3 (ZCS/FA f. ECU)
5. Select your chassis (E89=E9x)
6. Select CAS
7. Press F6 (back)
8. Press F4 (Process ECU)
9. Select the first module you need to code (CGATE)
10. Make sure it says SG_CODIEREN Press F3 (Execute job)
11. Go back to main menu and redo step 4-9
12. Select the next module you need to code (CHOST) until all five are coded: CGATE, CHOST, CAUD, CTUNE, CAPPL, in that order.
13. Done! Your CCC is now matched to your VO (the options on your car)
14. Disconnect your laptop and start the car. Then reboot the CCC (press on/off/mute-button, eject CD, eject DVD at the same time) and everything should work!
