I just replaced my headgasket and everything is back together properly, reinstalled the entire valve train myself and timed the motor using timing tools. Locked the motor at TDC and the cams when the head was removed, when put back together everything was the same.
I have a crank, but no start, made sure the camshaft sensors are plugged in all the way. I know my valves aren’t opening because I removed the intake manifold and looked myself when the motor was turning over. |

Eccentric Shaft? What Manual/ Procedure did you follow in reassembly? Did you remove Eccentric Shaft? If so, did you take photos of Eccentric Shaft BEFORE you removed it? Is it reassembled SAME way?
If Intake cam is turning, & NO intake valve is opening, there HAS to be something related to Eccentric Shaft that is incorrect. 1) Is VVT Actuator Motor working? 2)When reinstalling it, what procedure did you follow? 3) What Fault Codes are read? 4) Do you have a Scan Tool or diagnostic Software (INPA/ISTA) that can Activate VVT Eccentric Shaft? 5) If so, or if you can rotate the VVT Actuator with a Hex-bit, can you get valves to open by increasing Eccentric Shaft Angle?
