I recently purchased a 2006 330xi and two days ago my rear left shock went bust. So I have been looking for replacement shocks akin to OEM. I decided on SHACHS but this is where I am extremely confused.

When I put my VIN(KL51886) on realoem I get the following part number for the shocks: 33526779985. My current ones are 33526773253 and realoem indicates this supersedes mine.

When I put the same number on the SACHS catalog I am given this part: SACHS 311-410

But when I go to FCP-EURO it indicates that SACHS 311-409 fits my car and 311-410 does not. There is also a mention of how the 311-410 is for sport suspension. My vehicle is an xi if that makes a difference.

FCP-EURO PAGE for SACHS 311-409 matches the part number 33526779985 whereas SACHS page for 311-409 does not.

I reached out to FCP-EURO customer service and they told me that my VIN matches 311-409.

Additionally, when I go to rock auto it tells me that 311-410 is the one for my vehicle.

I appreciate any help. I am trying to purchase my new shocks as soon as possible so that I can get going with my car again.
