ISTA HELP

Greetings everyone,

I have a ISTA link that I have downloaded and I keep getting PAD active error when connecting to the car. I have a K DCAN connector that I have downloaded the drivers for. I followed all instructions the best I could.

Im looking for someone who knows how to instal this software and knows the Ins and outs. I’m willing to $$$ for the one who can get me linked up. Any insight would be appreciated!

-make sure you are on ignition mode and not having the car completely running.

-from my experience, I had to modify my EDIBAS.ini file to reflect the following:

Interface =STD:OBD
Simulation = 0

EcuPath = C:\EDIABAS\ECU
SimulationPath = C:\EDIABAS\SIM
TracePath = C:\EDIABAS\TRACE
TraceSize = 1024

location of file is EC-APPS -> ISTA -> Edibas -> BIN -> then look for EDIBAS and it has to open up as a *.txt file.
