E90 Normal to Sport Seats (no power or heating)

Hello! This is my first post here!
I have searched on the forum for this but didn't find an answer.

I just bought some sport seats (no power or heating) that were on an E90 2008 UK and want to fit them in my E90 02/2007 EU (also didn't came with power or heated seats). I've seen on forums that retrofitting seats are not that easy and i have some questions:

1. Are these plug&play?
2. What does the switch in the picture do? (i have attached a picture)
3. Does it matter that the seats are from an LCI car and my car is pre-LCI?

Thank You in advance!

I would imagine it would just boot up, I just looked at my sport seats and my other car with normal and everything is the same.

The button you circled is for the sides of the seat to squeeze you into the seat (I'm sure there is a name for it, it's not lumbar support as it squeezes the sides in to make sure your stuck in the seat)

Hope this helps

Does anyone have a solution for this?
I have EU e92 2007 leather semi-electric heated and I saw on marketplace 2 seats UK full electric non heated
Is there a way to swap the airbag detection and the heating system?

Seat wiring changed between 2007 and 2008 which may be your problem. I had a similar experience. My thread shows the wiring changes and how I got around it

Good luck!
