E90 Angel Eyes as DRL

I've searched everywhere but I cannot find specific instructions on how to code my angel eyes to stay on 24/7 and turn off the drl . If someone could point me in the right direction it'd be much appreciated.

Turn off DRL's using the OBC stalk, then set lights to auto. It should have the AE's only illuminated. I did this in my car.

Does that leave them on without the orange turn signal bulbs?

E90 doesn't have that function.

You need to make sure you have FRM2 or higher. Instructions on how to code it is all over the coding forum. https://www.google.com/search?q=e90+...%3Ae90post.com

You can, just did it today. Super easy, you turn on DRL and turn off all of the lights except the AEs.

Its called Corner delete. U can do it by coding it. I did this 5 yrs ago. I do have to turn DRL on for the angel lights to be on.

Angel eyes as driving lights without corner lights has to be coded. All you can do through the stalk is turn off DRL's. Then you turn your headlight switch to position 1 and you will have AE's and corner lights.

I think position 1 is called Park lights. It works but you need to flick them on and off all the time and if you forget to turn them off they will flatten your battery. Not ideal.

Nicer to get them coded so only AEs come on during the day when lights are left on auto.

After much reading about this confusing topic, I just got this done on my 2007 335I built in 06/14/2007. Very cool stuff. I took the car to a local shop and the guy brings out his laptop, hooks it up to my car and starts changing the settings and making these changes:

So now I just leave the lights on AUTOMATIC and every time I turn the car on the ANGEL EYES only come on (unless of course it is dark then the headlights come on). Exactly what I was looking for

using Carly the following occurs on a e90 LCI

corner delete: off + side marker: off = 3 LED off when switched to parking mode
However in Automatic (normal) 3 LED lights remain on.

Why not just code it for LED w/ headlight since Carly is not able to:

"PWM_POL_BEI_AKTIVEN_AL" -> wert_04 (Low Beam)
"PWM_POL_BEI_AKTIVEN_FL" -> wert_04 (High Beam)

Did you take it to a regular shop or a BMW dealer? I contacted my dealer and they said they cannot code it because their software will not allow them to

Yea, dealer software isn't set up to do this stuff. You need find a coder or look up BMW Standard Coding Tools 2.12 to do it yourself.

Just skip the dealer as they won't touch the car to do that. What I did is I went on Craigslist, typed in "BMW coding" and boom, found a local shop in South Florida that does it.

I haven't tried it yet but didn't LaxIan55 say he was able to do it on an E90, see above.

Ever figure this out? I can't get a response from anyone although folks say it can be done. I haven't seen anything for e90 lci and everything I tried didn't work with bimmercode.
