There won't be one anytime soon. The Diverter valve is an electronic valve that is built into the engine, unlike the N54 which had an external spring driven valve... It won't be as easy (or cheap) to make a DV or Blow off valve for the N55...

Would a BOV even be a good idea for the N55 because of the stock single turbo? Someone please enlighten me on this.

And I quote from the N55 manual:
Diverter valve
"...The number of components has been greatly reduced by positioning the diverter valve on the turbocharger compressor housing."

The Only way you are going to have a replacement DV or BOV is if someone is willing to redesign the entire turbocharger compressor housing. THIS is nothing like the N54 where you could simply replace the stock DV's with a BOV or FORGE's DV's... BOV's and DV's run you about $300-$500, something of this magnitude would run you upwards of $1000 or more (from the manual, the whole housing and turbo would need to be replaced, just for the BOV effect)... But maybe an expert can chime in on this...

Not only because the diverter valve is on the turbo but it is now a MAF car, which means it will run like crap if you install an open atmosphere bov.

Are you going for the sound? It's already there. Turn off your music and get on boost, you'll hear the hiss.

yup not gonna happen yet. The diverter is real similar to an audi or a 997TT diverter but those are vacuum operated whereas ours are electronic.

+1. This is really the main reason IMO. Once you have to start fooling around with this type of stuff, then the justification for putting a bov is gone. You've spent more money on a nearly unfunctional modification than its really worth. I had a BOV but my car is MAP. Once you eject that metered air out into the atmosphere, you're car will run real rich and stumble.

Sorry to bump a old post but I came across this...

Is the n55 part of there listing a mistake or is this something that we could use?
I read a few n55 bov threads and because of the position of the maf sensor a bov seamed pointless.
