As a third party comment, I have these on my 2007 328 xi and I think they nailed the balance between handling and comfort. I have difficult frost-heaved roads at home and I would not go any stiffer than this combination. I think they are excellent for a daily driver.

I will advise that the rear shocks tend to fail prematurely. They were on my car when I bought it, so I don't know the failure milage, but it was likely around 30,000 km. I replaced my rears with some KV3 shocks and springs so that shows my faith in this set-up.

To the OP, GLWS. To a future purchaser, if you percieve yourself as a gentleman driver (or the female equivalent), I think you will like this set up.
