O2 Sensor Error: 2C32 Lambda Control 2
Hi all,
My car has been been throwing lean codes for awhile now and I am getting frustrated diagnosing this issue. I am fairly new to wrenching and am wondering if this is beyond my capabilities. The car: 2012 e92 328i xdrive N52 AT ~105,000 miles Completely stock The problems: The car had a rough idle for a while which I thought may stem from the leaky valve cover, so about a month ago I replaced the gasket & cover - from what I can see no further leaks or CCV hose broken. The rough idle slightly improved but was still present and the 2C32 code did not go away. I did a DIY smoke test (admittedly not the most reliable) and found a leak within the intake boot. So, the intake boot was replaced and MAF sensor cleaned. The rough idle is gone, but the lean codes are still present. 2C32 is constantly on while o2 sensor 2 after cat signal lean will come on intermittently. I have ordered both upstream o2 sensors and will see if that fixes the issue, but before I keep throwing parts at the car I wanted to see if anyone with similar experiences had any insight or advice on diagnosing and fixing these issues. Attached are my o2 sensor readings after idle warmed up and the fault code. Thanks! |
