A900 USB Port: Shut-down due to overloading

I've bought a vehicle with a COMBOX upgrade (2010 335d). The COMBOX works great with bluetooth, AUX etc, but the center console USB port does not connect. I've checked with protool, coding seems right and the 6FL is added. Also checked the connections in the COMBOX and they seem to be connected in the right place. Is anyone had the same issue?

I am getting a code A900 USB Port: Shut-down due to overloading.
Any help is appreciated.

Overloading is a power draw issue.

If there is nothing plugged into the port then you have a short of the 5v line to ground in the connector or cable running to the center console…. Or the cable is not correctly pinned for the Combox.
