I bought my car at about 190k, it now has 225k with almost daily redlining and 5 bottles of nitrous through it. Rotella T6 5w40 +mann filter every 4-5k

Both manual?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but it's setup on a window switch to spray at a certain TPS voltage between the programmed RPM. So no buttons to push. I have 335 front brakes and SS Brake lines, no issues stopping the car. To stop the nitrous I just let off the pedal.

nice to see all these over 200K. I'm at 181K, doesn't burn a lick of oil - but did have to replace the valve cover because built in PCV went bad.

i’ve seen people post speedo’s at 400mi+ highest i’ve seen was lil 637,000 kilometers. mine is at 200,000 miles and i drive it like 7-10 hours a day on average for work and never had any major issues. put over 30,000 miles on it and im not quite at a year of owning it. i put in a lot of time and research and shopping to find mine though. i always hate when people claim this but i can back it up that i got probably one of the nicest ones ive ever found. especially at 200k miles

Update from my previous posts 02-01-2019 and 06-25-2019.

My 2008 E91 has the original N52 and the GM 6L45 6AT. Last time I noticed the odometer was June 29th, when I took a picture; 342,000 miles. Engine oil changes every 7,500 miles and transmission service every 30,000. Just a daily driver these days. From 2016-2019 it was my weekend HPDE car (37 track days).

Oil consumption: I add a quart (5w40) every 3500 miles.

As someone looking to get a 6MT E91, seeing them with 300K+ miles is encouraging. So many people drive these things like appliances and don't take care of them. Just shows how important routine maintenance can be to the longevity of these cars.

I've been a member of E90 Post since April 2006 when I ordered my 325i. Below is my lifetime oil change schedule for the driveline. The level of shit I caught for following the E90's CBS oil life monitor early on was utterly ridiculous. People freaked out at engine OCIs at 17,000 and 18,000 miles. Members were sure my N52 would die an early death. It got so bad with one member, Clifton, who got mad enough that he had me banned. I accumulated miles so quickly I was the first to discover several of the E90 anomalies that are now the standard understanding of the car's mechanical attributes. I may not have the highest mileage E90 known to exist, but I'm pretty sure I have the highest mileage E90 as an original owner.

Yet 18 years later here I still drive my E90 just once a week now just about 25 miles per round trip (vs. 165 miles daily for about 12 years) with 424,000 miles (pic below from March 14th, 2024). The drastic change due to owning multiple cars and a drastic shortening of my daily commute (thank God). The miles are far from highway miles. Very hard daily backroad hammering added to stop-and-go traffic in Northern Virgina for years.

But the data stand for themselves. Other than driveshaft (not a lubed part) and the note on the differential, which I replaced unnecessarily at 324,000 miles, the driveline components are original at 424,000 miles. My lifetime MPG is still above 27, even with the shortened commute. Note the mileage pic shows the car will still pull +30 MPG, which I find for a 400,000+ mile original engine, as incredible. Oil consumption is down to about 3,000 miles per liter.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."

Im at about 240,000. But my goal is to get a million on it. Ive always done all of the maintenance on it myself. To include,
valve cover gasket
oil filter housing gasket
couple of cooling hoses
radiator
ac compressor
transmission fluid and filter pan
drive shaft
head gasket (preventatively)
vanos solenoids
coils and plugs
oil pan
entire suspension
o2 sensors
fuel pump and pressure regulator
valve stem seals
power steering lines
pcv valve and hoses

yeah ive done alot to it. but still original engine and transmission and still strong. No current codes as i deal with them instantly.

Only modifications are catless, but still with resonator and muffler. o2 spacers to remove issues.
