Did I get a FAKE set of ARP Head Studs?

Ordered a set of ARP head studs from a reputable vendor....they just showed up. First thing is, I'm pretty sure they have been used. There is no ARP lube in the box, some of the hex holes look stripped out, and some of the threads look like they have grease on them.

Second thing is that they don't look like the ARP hardware I've had in the past. The ARP stamp on the end of the stud looks like crap, not nice and sharp like they usually do. Second, the washers are supposed to be stamped with a texture on one side so they grip the head....these washers are flat on both sides. Also, the threads look cut to me...no rolled.

Is this normal for N54 ARP Studs? For the price I paid...I would expect them to look better than this (and not be used). They are getting shipped back.

Maybe someone bought a set of real ARP studs, and then swapped them with some knockoffs...and returned them ?

Oh yeah those definitely look like they were used before.

I can't help you with what they are actually supposed to look like because I'm too much of a newb to have swapped head bolts on this car yet
