*Resolved* 2006 BMW 325i CIC Retrofit
Hi,
I recently did a non-iDrive to CIC retrofit in my 2006 BMW 325i. Everything went well from the mechanical standpoint (screen, controller, etc. work as expected). This main issue I have been trying to diagnose is no audio. My car is equipped with the logic 7 amp ($677). I have checked the all wiring (including the fiber optics loop) and all seems to be in order. For the coding, I have done the following: 1. Added $6VA, $609, and changed production date to #0910 and performed FA_WRITE to CAS and FRM 2. SG_CODIEREN the CIC 3. Updated the amp using WINKFP (suggested in a separate forum post) 4. SG_CODIEREN the amp and CIC after updating using WINKFP. Even after all these steps, there is still no audio. Are there any steps that I may have missed or can try to resolve this issue? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Last edited by Madhurjot; 09-12-2024 at 09:35 PM.. |

Did you remove the code for the factory installed audio system?

*Update* I was able to solve this issue by using WinKFP to update the AMP one more time with SP-Daten V69 and it worked! Thank you everyone for your help!
