Brake Rotor Specifications - how thin before out of spec?

How thin can the OEM brake rotors be on an E9X 335i before they are out of spec? Thanks

Basically replace them after they've worn 1.6mm from starting thickness. 348x30mm rotor = 30mm - 1.6mm = 28.4mm minimum thickness.

Some states also have laws on this subject, prohibiting shops from turning rotors if they will be thinner than a certain standard.
