E90 325i -Tire pressure for tires that are not shown in the sticker? 245/30ZR19 89YXL

Hi,

I just bought an E90 BMW 325i (2005) and it has rear tires that I don't know the correct tire pressure for.

Rear tires: Michelin 245/30ZR19 89Y XL

Do you know what pressure is optimal for these tires on my car?
Currently 42psi (2.9 bars) is giving me the tire pressure low - warning.

I managed to find someone with a 2019 M240i Convertible RWD who runs them at 49psi (3.4 bar), but I'm not sure if I should go that high.

My front tires are Michelin 225/35ZR19 88Y and the sticker shows the correct pressure for them is 34-40psi (2.4 - 2.8 bar).

42 is way too high.

Try something like 35 front and 38-39 rear.

If you get an error for low pressure somethings likely wrong with the tpms sender

Use this site: https://tiresize.com/pressure-calculator/

Plug in the info from the door jam as OEM tire and your current setup as new tire, should give you a safe starting point with appropriate load rating then you can fine tune based on tire wear.

I've been running a square wheel setup with 235/35R19 (on 8,5x19"s) for 10 years, and most often been running around 2,8 - 3,0 Bars (40,6-43,5 PSI) in the front and 3,0-3,2 Bars (43,5-46,4 PSI) in the rear. I just chose the closest OE tire dimension pressure, using the maximum load value (without running maximum load of course ^^).

The Michelin PSS that I ran from 2014-2024 lasted 31k miles (and still about 3mm of thread).

And as you see most values are pretty close.
