Haven't had any vibrations even with the cheap ebay ones. As long as you get hubcentric spacers and extended lug bolts or studs and have them torqued down at 88ft/lbs then I don't see any reason why they would vibrate.

I've gone through macht schnell, H&R, ecs tuning, DS-X, ebay black ones, ebay polished ones, ebay blue ones and etc and NONE of them caused vibrations. (3mm, 5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm)

I even did 25mm + 5mm to achieve the 30mm (stacked spacers) and I drove on them for 2 months for ~2000 miles and did not have a single problem.

I know spacers are already "not recommended" by most people, and stacking spacers is "asking for it" but those people clearly have never tried using them and are only scared because of hearing stories of people's wheels falling off.

I've actually sold a few of our sets to guys who were replacing some ebay kits due to wobbling/balancing issues.

There are some that are perfectly fine to use but there are more than a handful claiming to be made of the same material as the reputable brands (billet) when they clearly aren't from the pictures. There's also a few that sacrifice material on the face of the spacer for cost which can be a major cause of wobbling.

We generally don't recommend running anything over a 20mm spacer due to the additional wear on the wheel bearings.

12mm front 20mm rear is your best bet, unless you want to roll the fenders.

Edit- I see you already ordered 15mm and 20mm. You shouldn't have any problems with those sizes.

I've fitted 20mm rear and 12mm front spacers to my E90 325i SE (with 18" style 269 wheels) and have noticed absolutely no detriment to the ride quality at all there is also no rubbing with this setup. Might be a different story if it was an LCI model though....

I strongly recommend that you only fit hub-centric spacers as this is much better for the wheel bolts.

A great little mod that can really improve the look.

You have to take into account if you are planning to lower your car in the future, which size wheels you are getting, the offset of the wheels you get in the future and also what type of tires you want to get.

I see you ordered 20mm for the rear, you may need to add negative camber or roll fenders if you do choose to lower and get bigger wheels and tires. For now you should be fine.

12 was a safer estimate, but I think you'll be fine with 15mm.

I’m looking at spacers for my 2011 e90 335i Msport.

287 stock wheels
245/40 front
265/35 rear

Will 10mm front and 12mm rear cause rubbing with wider tire setup? I measured and it seems 12mm front and 15mm rear would fit but I want to be a bit conservative.
