M Sport Diffuser Color?
I want to put the M Sport rear onto my car, I have the bumper and trim piece, but I am confused on the diffuser. What color is the diffuser supposed to be? I’ve seen it as gloss black on lighter colored cars, but my 335 is black sapphire metallic. I’ve seen many black 335s with the diffuser looking unpainted, but I’m confused now as to what color it is supposed to be. Thanks in advance.

I’d advise you not to go gloss.
Either black matte or satin is the way to go. I personally went with a black satin look on mine. Last edited by Wolf 335; 01-09-2018 at 07:39 AM.. |

I had a spare for my E60 that I painted satin black. My car is titanium silver metallic. I also had a 128i M Sport, the color on that diffuser was a bit more grey, but it was also more of a satin finish. That car was Alpine white. I'd say choose a color somewhere between black and dark grey, and paint it with a satin finish. If you're having a body shop do it, they'll do a normal base/clear and just add a matting agent to the clear coat.

I think gloss black would look good.
I have a glossy carbon fibre one now.

Sometimes contrast works. 07 Black Sapphire here. I had the body shop match it to my Advan RS' in Dark Gunmetal Metallic. Sh!tty phone pic at night, but you get the idea. |

Flat or matte colours on the exterior look cheap and look dirty.
Plasti dip is a good example, turns to crap and looks faded, so why put something thats already flat onto the exterior. Gloss, clear coated is the way to go.

just had the dealer paint my LCI alpine white m-sport rear and they did the valence in space gray metallic and it looked exactly how my factory one was. It is definitely in the gunmetal gray family. Matte or unpainted looks unfinished IMO.

Hello! Recently got a small scratch from another car reversing. Can anyone tell me what color is that bottom valance piece? I want to touch paint it but cannot find any color information. Is it even painted or just primed? Thanks in advance

If it is the aero kit rear bumper, should be B27 Dark Shadow Metallic
