I have a 2008 335i hard top convertible. The battery went dead with the top down. I followed a link to raise the top manually including releasing the hydraulic pressure screw and backing off the small cylinders under the trim piece of the rear windows. After lifting the trunk cover, I was not able to lift the 3 part top up. Is there a locking mechanism for this? or is it stuck?
