Beautiful... wish I had skies, and roads, like that by me. What do you call that road? And it looks like where you ride your bike. Nothing like that here or I'd still be riding.

This is one I took last year at my work - I walked out and locked the door behind me and turned around and was like holy moly. For a second I though the distribution facility in the distance was on fire, but it was just the universe saying hello. I walked out at exactly the right time to see it!

Maybe it's just me, but the hair on the back of my neck stands up just looking at that picture of a trail under transmission lines! The fields off of those wires can probably excite a florescent light tube if someone holds it up in their hands.....

Wifey was talking about that last night during our walk. The main issue I have with the wires are the small pieces that occasionally fall off, especially after a storm. About the size of a normal paper staple and lethal to bike tires. I've had four flats this year on the trail.

The last flat didn't show itself until I got home. The one before that I repaired on the trail. The one before that, I was able to get back to the car on a mushy tire and then stop at the LBS to get it fixed. I've had Wifey come get me in the past. At its closest point, the trail is 2 miles from my house.

In the past, I was seriously into sunset photography. Haven't done much of it the last few years.

I can't take credit for this but will anonymously on the internet...
It's on my route to work according to the photographer. Taken a day or two ago. |
