Another 335xi did I get a deal or hosed ?

I’ve been driving by this white coupe all summer long dropping my son off at his mother’s . The add said $4000 160k . I spoke to the guy months ago got him down to 3500$ but just kinda blew it off . Well I offered him 3000$ cash and he said ok . I have a 08 6spd rwd that’s FBO and upgraded chra’s. And who knows what else . As I bought this car all built . I also have a 08 335xi that I bought with bad turbos . Put Frankenstein hybrid turbos . (I know I know but I bought locally. Brand new for under 1000 including stepped intercooler and inlets etc) however that car has a nice knocking noise at 2300rpm .
Anyways this new 335xi seemed like I got a hell of a deal. As I was driving it home it started overheating so I was all bummed thinking head gasket is gone or worse . I text the owner asking if it ever overheated. Which he said o yeah the mechanic mentioned the water pump might be bad that’s why I stopped driving it . Fast forward to getting it home and some diagnostics. The culprit was just the fuse above the battery . I switched to empty one and hasent over heated once yet. The sign said it had 160k, once I got it home I noticed it had 108864 For miles. Which is really weird then I find this receipt. So the car was definitely sitting for 5 years but it goes great and is 100% bone stock except the golf tee mod . So I’m curious what bumper is on it ? is this a lci model or m package ? The bumpers taillights etc are way different then my 335i

Ok so lets start out with the differences between the 2 cars....

White car is an e92, which is the Coupe version of the E9x platform.
The black car is an E90 because its a 4 door sedan.

They aren't supposed to look the same because they were never designed to. The sedan is more family friendly design and the coupe is a bit sportier/sleeker design. Hence the different front and rear facias, headlights, tail lights, etc. In case you didn't notice the 2 missing doors are a dead giveaway JK JK!

I'm not sure I understand why you are asking if you got ripped off or a great deal... from what I gather the car is working just fine since you fixed the fuse right?

I have noticed a slight smell of antifreeze a few times but I’ve driven it for over a hour without any overheating lights . Which is kinda concerning. Are the heater cores common on these cars ?
