Hi everyone.
Recently, I paid local euro shop to change fluid and filter of my 2011 328i.
It was 59,500mi so it was perfect time to change.

After that, I noticed that 1st gear makes whining noise.
Well, not sure it was making same noise when I got the car. I should've recorded some video haha.

whine goes stronger as I gain speed, and once shifted to 2nd gear whine disappears.
They used genuine filter with Toptec 1800, which is Dexron VI compatible.
I went back to the shop and they re-checked fluid, filled quarter of quarter, basically little more fluid in certain temperature - they didn't tell me what was the temp was- bur they told me now fluid is in perfect level.

I assume they followed the manual, so therefore I want to ask if anyone also has some sort of whine from 1st gear.
Gear change is smooth, no jerks or smashing gears, flair, etc.Just that 1st gear. I notice when I am start driving as GM trans starts with 1st gear.

I am also considering going to another euro shop to drain and refill with Valvoline maxlife Dexron VI- without opening pan because they replaced it recently.
