Wanted to make a new update for my issue that might help others. Unforutnely I still have gremlins. My conclusion is just the handle itself isn't good. What happens is that over time it might start to work a bit more slowly, and then at one point it's completely stops working. But then if I unplug the handle and replug it, it all magically works again for a few weeks to a month. Sometimes takes a day for the handle to start working again.
I wish I could buy a brand new handle to see if it still happens then but BMW do not make them anymore (unless anyone has another link, I do not find other stores with it either), I would've done that since the start. EDIT: I just want to update my post to say I fixed both comfort access handles issues definitevely. Turns out it was the handles all along. Got 2 new used handles from a local pull a part yard and they work. It has been over 4-5 months now. Last edited by TheMidnightNarwhal; 09-25-2024 at 05:38 PM.. |

E92 (2011- 335is) Comfort Access Driver side handle
I have been searching through various websites looking for a replacement to part number 7138335 in Black Sapphire Metallic. Any suggestions on where to find a replacement? I have tried eBay, Amazon and various bimmer sites. No luck yet.

Comfort Access on 2011 335is
I have had no success in fixing the CAS. The fuse keeps blowing and my battery draws down over night because the system will not go to sleep. Can I disconnect the CAS control module to stop the battery draw down?

But still, have you read the codes to see if there is anything? When my comfort access rear bumper antenna broke, I had a code for it. But for my handles, I did not get codes. |
