Stealth tow hitch options
Seems like everyone recommends the Curt Hitch 11771 which is also now close to $500.
Please share what hitch you are using and pictures if possible. I'm also curious if a stealth hitch like this works on the E91 - it's only advertised for the E90. Does anyone know if it's the same fitment? https://stealthhitches.com/products/...ries-sedan-gas

I have the Stealth hitch for my E90 328i. I love it so far, you can't see any part of it with the reciever part removed, and everything is very well built. My E90 isn't my main tow vehicle, since I also have a Jeep Wrangler 4.0L, but the few times I've pulled my 5x8 trailer with the car it worked very well.

Westfalia Hitch - it's what BMW fitted when you ordered as extra equipment. Fully integrates with body panels.
I have towed two ~600kg horses numerous times with E90, it's fine kit. Last edited by Captain Buumer; 06-10-2023 at 01:38 PM.. |

I have a German E91 that I imported into Canada last summer. It has the power operated down/pull up hitch assembly somewhat common in German BMW's. HOWEVER in North America we require safety chains and both my hitch and the one you mention have no place to hook up safety chains.

Do you still have the hitch? I own YOUR car now.
