Vanos solenoids and transmission performance
Just had the VANOS Solenoids replaced on my E93 Cabriolet - 2011 328i. - by the dealer.
Now the transmission is not running. No engagement. Is there a direct relationship betwenn the VANOS solenoids and the transmission?? Need to know ASP. Thanl\ks. |

The VANOS solenoids in your BMW control the variable valve timing system, which adjusts the timing of the intake and exhaust valves to optimize engine performance and efficiency. This system is separate from the transmission, and there is no direct relationship between the two components.
If your transmission is not engaging after the replacement of the VANOS solenoids, it's unlikely that the solenoids themselves are causing this issue. However, it's possible that during the repair process, something else was inadvertently affected—such as wiring connections, sensors, or the transmission control module. |
