bilstein shocks

so im working my way through this car (E92) and noticed that it was squirrely over rougher roads, so i got a 4 wheel wheel alignment, and to some degree its better, anyway cutting to the chase the rear RHS shock is worn out.

ive ordered two Bilstein rear shocks, but noted that the site said sedans and wagons only, i checked the Bilstein web site and they don't differentiate.

soooo, hope ive done the right thing, i mean a E92 is only an E90 with 2 doors missing right!!

The Bilstein website is oddly inaccurate with their application listings.. What's the part number for the shocks you ordered?

I would have a BMW experienced shop go over the rear links on the suspension. The assorted bushings and joints can wear. My E90 got progressively more squirrely in the rear, and we found worn bushings. May be time for a refurbish on the suspension bushings. They don't last forever.

yep got it sorted, got on to the vendor and he has got the correct shocks. yep i think i already acknowledged "Whats the difference " hahah

as for bushes yep all over it, but rather than just chuck parts at it im taking one diagnosed
problem at a time, this is not a daily driver (at this time) so i have heaps of time to get it sorted, at 17 years old and no service history its something of a luck dip, according to the few receipts i do have its only done 20,000km (12,000 miles) in the last 7 years, so who knows

as i said one step at a time, i do appreciate all your input as my questions arise
thanks
