actually i have a non-OEM setup on my e87 just like you described and an OEM setup with iCam and EVO on my e92. i was curious on how exactly he installed his oem setup on the e87 (looks good).

That part is no good for this retrofit. It's for front and rear PDC on a lot of E series chassis’ but has a smaller ROM on the microprocessor and lacks the 'Park Master' settings to active the reverse camera. You need a 9252636 ideally as it came with the latest firmware, but you can also use a 9225822, 9224465 or 9216138 as they can be software upgraded to become a 9252636 if they have not been updated already. These parts were only available on the E84 X1.

anyone knows which is the difference between the e84 camera holder and f20 camera holder?

managed to read the modules on bench ( i use can bridge and icom) and both are from X1 E84 manual ( my car being e87 automatic)

attached the TRCs from modules, clearly the PDC has a totally different TRC than an e9x PDC module/

should i upgrade them to the latest version of software?

which config should i tweak for e87 and how?

I will do the Retrofit in my E92 LCI as well.
Currently have the JBB3 in my car which came from factory.

So all I need is the Camera Handle from Aliexpress, the OEM Camera, the OEM Harness, the TRSVC with Letter instead of Number, the X1 PDC Module.

Coding will be done by myself.

My only question: Where do I have to put the fuse that comes with the Harness ? Which Position ?

Man how do you know that you have a European PDC Module? My car its a e92 335i LCI and I have update all the modules to 2018 lastest software with Ista P, I Have front and rear sensors, M JBE and I have an Fseries TRSCV Module and Camera with all wiring Oem new retrofit. My ISTA+ said ECE type of my vin when I run the complete identification.

So what do you think this setup will work?

F series TRSVC wont work on E series. They have different CAN bus.

I tried to change the Values in Nettodat File.

I could default code the TRSVC and tried to code the Nettodat because of the lines.

E92/E93 with chinese varient handle (I've estimated this as the camera is set left of centre)
|70 0E|D6 FF|52 03| = | 3696mm | -42mm | 850mm |

Tried these values but the Cam view got messed up. So I reverted back.

The default Values are: E0,0D | 80,E9 | 00,00 |

I also have the Chinese Variant Handle.

Hello I believe 2005 has K-Line you need to convert to D-Can first then you can use JBE3 i believe!

Yes, that is what I thought.

I had found this info in the BMW info steps of how to retrofit an automatic double clutch transmission:

Part4 ( Replacing JBE ECU ) ( if you have 2007/09 > skip this part )

You can find JBE ECU under the feet of the passenger seat.

First you should replace it on new one JBE2 or JBE3 ECU (61359286790 ).

After this you should integrate D-can bus line for new ECU. ( Old cars have K-line and new ECU will not work )

Change pin on OBD2 socket 7 to 14

and put the additional wire between OBD2 socket pin 6 and JBE ( blue connector ) pin 17


Do you think that will be all to make the change to the D-Can line?

Is there some specific PNs that need to be used for PDC? When looking in the lists it seems like E84 and E9x is sharing the same part numbers?

Will a E7x TRSVC always make up fault codes due to the missing side cameras, or are there any workaround for that?

My e93 is also refitting the rear view camera. I replaced a jbe3 frm3 module and 636pdc for replacement. Now I am waiting for the arrival of TRSVC, and the two files of DATEN have been replaced. PDC can now be coded. Is it possible to set code directly without other files TRSVC?
