installed new zf pan and now car won't go into any gear
2010 BMW 335i M, stage 2+ tune. I drained the transmission fluid dropped the zf pan, installed new pan and put in about 5 quarts of fluid. That's all it would take till I warm it up. While I was warming it up, I wanted to move it back some but it wouldn't go into reverse, or drive?
Do I have to do a trans reset or something? I didn't mess with anything else other than new pan and fluid? What are your thoughts? |

You shouldn't have to do a trans reset at all.
Did you get it up to temp and then run through all the gears and top off after that? That's basically the ZF process. |
