Winter Tire Help

Hi All. I have a 2011 335i convertible with the Msport package. It came with 19" Light alloy Star-spoke wheels style 230-with performance run-flat tires. I would like to replace these with tires for the winter as I am in Chicago. I have a set of Style 397 8x18 rims available. Would these fit as a winter sub? If so, would I go with a 235/45/18 tire? Also, what would this do as far as TPMs go? Pardon my ignorance. I am also happy to share pics if necessary. Thanks Forum!

I don't know what the ET is on the 397's but I'd go a little more narrow on the tires, the idea is to cut through the snow and ice easier. I lived on Addison near Lincoln for more than four years and know about the weathers, thankfully I parked the car and rode the L.

Thanks for the info. They’re ET34. I’m thinking I’ll go with the narrower 225/45/18 for winter. Thanks!
