Purchasing Bilstein B14 PSS9

Hey gang, doing a little refresher on my suspension. I'm going to go with the PSS9's and want to purchase a strut and shock mounting kit to go along with it to replace all the worn out parts associated with it. My question is, my car is a non sport. Would there be any benefit to me ordering the strut/shock mounting kits for sport suspension?

i.e This kit:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-31306775098kt

and this kit:

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...kit-e9xrsmkit1

I assume I don't need to order extra bump stops as the Bilsteins setup comes with them already.

you dont need most of those parts with the b14 coilover kit and fyi it gonna get lowered a good amount as the b14 doesnt quite reach msport ride height. the rear kit parts with exception of the dust boots/stops and can reuse the cup and sealing groomet. the front kit only need the strut mount, upper spring pad and the hardware is up to you (al perch, nuts, paper gasket, washer).

I agree, much of the rear kit is not needed. Get new strut mounts, rear shock mounts (ideally upper and lower), the rubber spring seats if desired and call it good.

Depending on the year and body, many non sport cars still used the sport strut mounts. That's kind of the go-to when replacing them as they're cheap, last a long time, and may sit a hair lower than the non-sport.
