2006 330i should have been the standard base model after they released the 335i. Going down to the 328i didn't benefit anyone!
Agreed. Or you can try retrofitting OE aspherical mirrors for a wider angle.

I tried the Euro kind once, but they were the wrong part and didn't work out.
Might need to revisit at some point!

Having the same problem finding clean A pillars as the bottom of mine have also wrinkled. Was kind of hoping someone out there was able to find an exact match for the headliner material so I could just rewrap the ones I have without having to do the entire headliner to match.

On the C pillars, might just go with LCI ones since just like the visors they moved from fabric covered to vinyl/plastic which can be cleaned.

Although I prefer pre-lci in general especially 2006 models with more hp/tq.
Didn't know thee was a difference in the cluster as well.

So the N52 LCI clusters have the temperature gauge instead of MPG? Friend of mine has a E92 328i with the temp gauge. I want that for my 330 instead of the useless MPG needle.

Fun fact: The 2006 models (325 and 330) use a slightly different font for the numbers on the speedometer and tachometer than the 2007 and later models.

Jelly! I wanted a set but couldn’t find any that didn’t look like anus.
On Monday I found Someone had put a brass base bulb in the left taillight so it was nice and melty.

Figured I’d better buy a set before it was too late, amd Looks like they are now NLA everywhere for e91. Mine arrive tomorrow.

I dont think so, I dont know all N52, but I think they all come with mpg. You need a 335, or changing the face plate and coding mpg>T°

sometime you can be lucky, I got some from lithuania (i think, well the place on ebay where most cheap cool car parts came from) and they look way better in person than picture.

I dont know if they use generic pictures and sent me a nice set, but I wont complain. The rubber ban around is different than the non-M version and seem like it wear out faster. I use plastic restorer on mine and they look good.

Also mine are ''gel'' like M-logo, they dont scratch. Like some I saw locally on FB, they look solid plastic/metal and they are all scratched.

The design of the needles. LCI needles are illuminated all the way through the centre.

Well that makes me question a few things as my 2008 has needles that are illuminated through the center.

Not sure what is your interior colour, but I have grey upper interior parts available. I would need to verify cleanliness, but the fabric is definitely intact without lifting/wrinkling.

I love them. They really help regulate the temps and comfort. Here's an okay-ish photo of it. These are the BMW branded ones from the 90's. You can get modern ones on ebay, but they are much thicker and feel like you're sitting on a bubble. These ones are much thinner so you sit properly down within the seat.

Kept having to fill air in my left rear tire.

Turns out I picked up a nail. Non-repairable, had a new Continental SRS+ put on (Discount Tire warranty FTW).

Had the TPMS sensors resynced - car thought my right front tire was low…

Not that I’m aware of for LCi having temp in USA except 335… but you can do what I did and get an LCi 355 cluster cheap ($35-45) scatched clear plastic is ok as you will reuse your case, and install ” perfekt toolbox” on a win 10 computer.

When you get it, connect new cluster ot car temporarily and read the guage programming off it, then swap the faces and nicer needles over on the 328… and use perfekt to convert your 328 cluster to have temp, and install the matching stepper motor steps that the 335 cluster used on rpm and mph to correctly index the mph and tach sweep since the font and everything is slightly different on 335.

Takes a couple of hours, but beats having to try to revirginize a cluster which takes even longer amd is more of a hassle.

From what I’ve seen, E92/93 328i’s also have the oil temp gauge.

That’s a 335 cluster.

Below are two pics, one has pre LCi original 325 cluster 2006, with 335 faces in front the other is the converted 325->335 back assembled.

Font is slightly different, spacing is slightly different on tachometer due to lower redline,
needles on pre LCi 325/8 end at circle and don’t go “thru” the circle base, the ‘needle’ shape tapers out/disappears atop them, etc.
btw LCI needles are easier to see in daytime due to being white on top, and they also illuminate brighter against the gauge face at night.

I hope this helps!

Cool had heard but forgotten that. wasn’t that on LCi e92/93 only?

(To be honest i often forget 92s and 93s exist as part of e90/e91 family since so much is so different on them)

I'd really like to do this changeover. I don't mind the instant fuel economy gauge, but an oil temp gauge would be so much better. And an voltmeter.
