So I have a 2011 335i with an n55 engine in it, I ended up blowing the original engine on it though. So I decided to just slap a new n55 in it, the engine I put in it had about 122xxx miles on it. Fast forward to today I finally got it started but it’s making a noise and I’m generally not sure what it could be any ideas?

any videos of that noise? can be a lot of things, from rod knock, to valvetronic grind on startup, or pcv "whistle"

ouf hard top tell, Ive heard blown n54/55 and they not sound like this.
